I have a job for next semester. WOOHOO. I just found out and am very excited. I am teaching parenting and a couple English classes. No I am not a parent. But I will pull it off. It looks like a super interesting course, and there is some stuff in there about nutrition so that is super exciting. It is going to be a fun semester. I am at one of the schools I am at now - but this time I will be full time :). Plus I have a weeks notice, so I can start preparing. Which is awesome.
I wonder how far I can go when teaching nutrition, I mean I obviously am not a fan of Canada's food guide, but the curriculum is. I don't want to teach things I don't agree with, but I think I will be safe if I stick to teaching about real food. I 100% believe in real food, and that way I am not asking for trouble. We will see, it is only a small part of the course as it is. The rest is about being ready to be a parent (which I am so not) and childhood development, which I have studied in university, phew!
In honour of this exciting news I will share one of my favourite recipes ever. This BBQ sauce. I literally make it weekly and use it in so many of my recipes. Whenever I go home my sister asks for it! It is the best, and the easiest.
Well this is a lighter post than the last two days...but I can't help it. I am thrilled to have work for next semester. :)
